Informed by a report arising from a recently completed CRCLCL project, this event for senior industry and government representatives will incorporate discussions on:
- Global and Australian best practice policies and regulations for the energy/carbon performance of the built environment
- Policy and regulatory settings for new and existing buildings (residential and commercial) at all three tiers of government in Australia
- Evidence- and science-based strategies and policy choices
- Pathways for policy reform, including short, medium and longer term objectives.
Led by CRCLCL Deputy Chair, Mr Sandy Hollway AO, Forum attendees will explore the elements of a best practice policy and regulatory framework for Australia, feasible pathways and time-frames for policy reform, and elements worthy of priority treatment.
