Supporting industry towards a low carbon built environment

The CRC for Low Carbon Living, in partnership with The University of Melbourne, UniSA, UNSW, AECOM, Bluescope, Aurecon and Sydney Water, would like to invite construction industry professionals to be part of a dynamic research project at the forefront of low carbon development within Australia.

The project is embedded within the Integrated Carbon Metrics (ICM) Project: A Multi-scale life cycle approach to assessing, mapping and tracking carbon outcomes for the Built Environment.

As a part of the ICM project, researchers from the University of Melbourne are conducting a pilot study aimed at gaining a better understanding of industry’s current involvement in creating low carbon developments.

There are several opportunities available to become part of this study.

  1. Industry members are invited to partake in a brief 10 minute online survey centred on their organisations involvement with low carbon design. To participate in the survey, please follow the link: bit.ly/RP2007survey
  2. An Industry Utilisation Workshop, to be held at UNSW on 22 May 2015, will provide a platform to network with like-minded professionals while attending a demonstration of the ICM Tool and PIM Carbon Extension Tool, being developed as part of this research project. For further information on the Workshop click here.
  3. To ensure that tools get developed that better suit the participant's organisations needs and expectations, we would like to invite interested participants to take part in a 30 minute one-on-one interview (with all personal details to remain confidential).

To participate in the survey, follow the link for further details: bit.ly/RP2007survey
