The CRCLCL was pleased to co-host the above seminar with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA). After a welcome by AILA president Gareth Collins, an audience of AILA members heard presentations by CRCLCL researchers on relevant topics including urban cooling and the future of our suburbs. Beck Dawson, Chief Resilience Officer for CRCLCL partner City of Sydney spoke on resilient cities, whilst landscape architect Louise McKenzie presented on urban heat, health and public space. The seminar concluded with a panel discussion, moderated by Linda Corkery (Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture in the Faculty of Built Environment at UNSW and AILA Board member).
